All content within the 30Squares platform — including but not limited to text, clues, puzzles, photographs, graphics, software code, databases, layouts, and logos — is the exclusive property of Millennium Software and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. All rights are reserved. No part of the 30Squares system may be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Millennium Software.
“30Squares” and the associated logo are trademarks of Millennium Software. You may not use these marks, or any confusingly similar names, logos, or branding, in connection with any product, service, or game without our prior written approval.
If you upload or submit any content to the 30Squares platform (such as photos, comments, or suggested clues), you retain ownership of your material but grant Millennium Software a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content within the game and for promotional purposes. You confirm that any content you submit does not infringe the rights of others.
The gameplay concept and structure of 30Squares — including the system of location-based clue solving, square progress tracking, and scoring — form part of Millennium Software’s proprietary system. You may not copy, recreate, or distribute a similar game using the same or a substantially similar system, whether digitally or in print, without an approved franchise or licence agreement.
Players are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to play 30Squares for personal enjoyment. No player may reproduce, resell, or use any part of the 30Squares platform, game content, or materials for commercial purposes without written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that breaches these terms or attempts to copy, clone, or otherwise exploit the 30Squares brand or content.
All intellectual property rights in the 30Squares name, platform, software, and underlying systems remain the property of Millennium Software. The game creator owns the rights to their original local content (e.g., photos, clue text) but licences Millennium Software to display, promote, and integrate it within the wider 30Squares ecosystem.
Any unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or imitation of the 30Squares game system — including use of the name, design, or gameplay framework — is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
By taking part in any game, activity, or outdoor challenge provided through the 30Squares platform, you acknowledge that participation may involve walking, navigation, and other physical activity in public or natural environments. You agree that you take part entirely at your own risk and are responsible for assessing your own physical ability, awareness of surroundings, and compliance with all local laws, weather conditions, and safety requirements.
Millennium Software and its partners accept no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or accident arising from your participation, except where required by law. Always stay within safe public areas and exercise care when crossing roads, near water, or in remote locations. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Millennium Software respects your privacy and complies with applicable UK GDPR and Data Protection laws. Your personal data (such as your GameTag, email address, and progress information) is used solely for account management, gameplay tracking, and essential communication relating to the platform. We do not share your details with third parties or use them for marketing without your explicit consent.
You can close your account at any time using the "Close Your Account" section at the bottom of the main Portal. This will remove all your personal data.
Any purchases made within 30Squares (including game sponsorships, credits, or paid clues) are non-refundable once the service or digital content has been delivered, except where otherwise required by law. In the event of technical issues that prevent gameplay access, Millennium Software may, at its discretion, issue replacement credits or extend access rather than a cash refund.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Millennium Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill resulting from the use of or inability to use the 30Squares platform or any of its content.
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, or for any other liability which cannot legally be excluded.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for all activities that occur under your login. If you suspect unauthorised use of your account, please contact Millennium Software immediately.
We may occasionally update these Terms & Conditions to reflect platform improvements, legal changes, or policy updates. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
